Enclosed are some photos from the NO PROROGUE Rally in Halifax, Nova Scotia...
Here in Halifax, there were over 750 people (some have estimated the crowds at closer to a thousand) who came out in bitter cold weather to gather in front of the Nova Scotia provincial legislature (Province House) to speak out against Harper's attack on democracy. Speakers at the Halifax rally included representatives of the NDP and the Liberal Party, as well as the President of the Halifax-Dartmouth and District Labour Council (Kyle Buott) and the Atlantic Regional Organizer for the Council of Canadians (Angela Giles). The crowd was also entertained with singing by the Raging Grannies, and a comedy performance by a member of the comedy troupe "Picnic Face" (
